Hello once again, everyone! In this essay, I will be informing you on what is like to be an AdVENTURE student. Here at AdVENTURE, we use a variety of technology to help us learn. Using "21st Century Learning Skills", we do a lot of different activities to help us learn. With a combination of technology and hands-on activities, we get a lot of work done at AdVENTURE. While it may be intimidating with all of the work that it seems like you have to do, every single assignement is fun in some kind of way.

Here at AdVENTURE, we use a plethora of different types of technology. We use a variety of laptops, phones, tablets, and more. Even are state tests for some classes were on a laptop. These types of technolgical gadgets greatly help our learning. It makes work a lot more convenient and easy to do. Without the different types of techonology used at AdVENTURE, we may not complete our work as fast as we do. The way that we do assignments here at AdVENTURE is much more convenient than other schools and is much less stressful.

The amount of hands-on activities at AdVENTURE is much higher than most other schools. This allows for a more fun experience while we learn and do assignments. An example of an assignment we used hands-on learning for is the "Asteroid Project". We had to build a tiny shelter that would be able to hold 10,000,000 people if built to scale. Our group (Julian Silva, Raymond Ruiz, Tristan Hanna, and me) chose to make our shelter out of cardboard. We cut multiple pieces of cardboard and hot glued them together. Then, we used Papier-mâché as an external layer over a balloon which we used as an extra roof.

We do all kinds of innovative and interesting projects and assignments here at AdVENTURE. For example, we had to make our own constitution for a social studies project. We had to make different articles for different laws in our country. After we completed this constitution, we needed to make a video explaining the counstitution and how the various laws affect citizens in their everyday life.

In the end, being an AdVENTURE student is something that should never be taken for granted. We get to do unique activities that not many other schools get to do. We get to do a lot of hands-on activities, get to use a lot of technology that benefits our learning, and much more.
